Self Portrait

Single moms get the shaft in the family photo department.  Shae and I had a fabulous weekend together with family this Canada Day - and this is the finest photo we both appear in - and I took it.  At least it's not the single mom self portrait up nose that I usually end up with...

I know, right?  I can totally see her clutching this treasured photo of her with her mom over my ashes one day 250 years from now (we're gonna live practically forever, I'm positive thinking it all.the.time.)...


Might be time to break down and get a pro to take some pictures for us...

Just for reference - this is the best self portrait I've taken - and most of us is missing.  Imagine how nice had I been able to capture all of us...  we're BOTH SMILING!  This is like finding a moon rock in your back yard!
